Project Overview
The Condensate Fractionation Plant (CFP) Project at Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL) represents a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s pursuit of energy self-sufficiency by enhancing domestic refining capacity and reducing dependence on imported petroleum products.
Energypac Infrastructure & Development Ltd. (EIDL) was entrusted with the design, detailed engineering, HAZOP study, procurement, supply, construction, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, startup, and handover of a skid-mounted 4,000 BBL/day capacity Condensate Fractionation Plant and its associated facilities at Rashidpur, Bahubal, Habiganj on a turnkey basis.
This state-of-the-art facility is designed to process condensate into high-value petroleum derivatives such as naphtha, kerosene, diesel, and other refined products. The project plays a vital role in SGFL’s strategic initiative to strengthen the nation’s downstream hydrocarbon processing infrastructure — ensuring sustainable utilization of natural gas by-products while maximizing energy value addition for Bangladesh’s growing economy.
