About EPV Chittagong Ltd.
EPV Chittagong Ltd. is a 108MW Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Bangladesh. The plant generates electricity using Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) and operates with 16 Rolls-Royce heavy-duty engines to ensure stable and efficient power supply. The plant began operations on January 12, 2014, under a 15-year contract with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). Over the last 10 years, it has successfully completed 10 Dependable Capacity Tests, proving its ability to generate power efficiently. Now, in its 11th year, EPV Chittagong Ltd. has once again met expectations by successfully completing its 11th DCT.
